The descriptions below outline the three available tiers for the Sacramento COVID Relief Outreach program. Please review each tier to determine which is the best fit for your organization or yourself prior to the start of your application. 

TIER I – $1,000 – $5,000 

Outreach efforts to include a combination of:

  • Sharing messaging with audiences containing at least 1,000 City of Sacramento residents
  • Sharing approved digital content twice per week for 15 weeks*
  • Safely distributing 250 pieces of collateral material (i.e. flyers, doorhangers, etc.) 4 times
  • Participating in two social media activation events
  • Displaying Sacramento COVID Relief posters in locations visible to community members
  • Attending a training webinar
  • Sharing City of Sacramento COVID Relief messaging during two community-facing virtual meetings/webinars
  • Other outreach activities to reach key city audiences
  • Completion of provided activity reports with details on outreach activities

TIER II – $500 – $1,000 

Outreach efforts to include a combination of:

  • Sharing messaging with audiences containing at least 250 City of Sacramento residents 
  • Sharing approved digital content twice per week for 15 weeks*
  • Safely distributing 250 pieces of collateral materials (i.e. flyers, doorhangers, etc.)
  • Participating in a social media activation event
  • Displaying Sacramento COVID Relief posters in locations visible to community members
  • Attending a training webinar 
  • Sharing Sacramento COVID Relief messaging during one community-facing virtual meeting/webinar
  • Other outreach activities to reach key city audiences
  • Completion of provided activity reports with details on outreach activities

TIER III – UP TO $500 

Outreach efforts to include a combination of:

  • Sharing messaging with audiences containing at least 100 City of Sacramento residents 
  • Sharing approved digital content once per week for 15 weeks*
  • Participating in a social media activation event
  • Attending a training webinar 
  • Other outreach activities to reach key city audiences
  • Completion provided activity reports with details on outreach activities

*Digital content sharing channels may include e-newsletters, social media posts, website updates, blog posts, etc.
