Public Health Orders

Due to the rate increases of COVID-19 from the highly infectious Omicron variant, Sacramento County Public Health on Jan. 6, 2022, issued a health order that continues to require masking indoors regardless of vaccination status.

Under the health order, residents must wear face coverings in all indoor public settings, venues, gatherings and workplaces, such as, but not limited to: offices, retail stores, restaurants and bars, theaters, family entertainment centers, conference centers and State and local government offices serving the public.

In accordance with the County’s health order, all employees, volunteers, interns, contractors and members of the public must wear face coverings when indoors in City of Sacramento facilities, regardless of vaccination status.
