- Disability Insurance is offered to eligible individuals unable to work due to medical quarantine or illness related to COVID-19.
- Paid Family Leave is offered to eligible individuals unable to work because they are caring for an ill or quarantined family member.
- Unemployment Insurance is offered to eligible individuals who have lost their job or had hours reduced due to coronavirus.
The LWDA has resources for workers regarding paid family leave, disability insurance, unemployment insurance, paid sick leave and workers compensation.
The Department of Human Assistance administers various federal, state and local government programs designed to provide temporary cash aid, food assistance and health insurance for eligible low-income Sacramento County residents.

In response to the COVID-19 impact on small businesses and Asian Pacific Island communities, the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce created the Business Triage Center to provide resources for access to capital, technical assistance, employer and employee information, and more.
